Réinitialise rax40 issue

Hello
I had to reset the router because it couldn't connect correctly to the Internet.
When I did I expected to find netgear29 sid as written bon the back of the device with "fuzzybanana575" password
It was netgear53.
The default password has changed and I don't know it.
Can't reinitialize the router.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Frederic

       Connected to what?

"had to"?  "couldn't" is not a useful problem description.  It does
not say what you did.  It does not say what happened when you did it.
As usual, showing actual actions (commands) with their actual results
(error messages, LED indicators, ...) can be more helpful than vague
    descriptions or interpretations.

       "NETGEAR29"?

Conceivably, the unit was mislabeled at the factory (unlikely?), or
    someone switched its innards.

Connect a wired device to the router, so that you don't need to know
    the wireless-network credentials.

      Hello

      Thanks for the tip.
You were right, my description was not detailed enough.
The router is connected via a fibre modem to the Internet.
The modem works fine but it was impossible to get an IP address from the router with any of my devices : PC, smartphone ou smart TV.
I then decided to reset the router using the Nighthawk app and followed the instructions.
At a moment I have to WiFi connect with the inners of the router, netgear 29 but it's been changed to 53 It's weird. I guess it's caused by a firmware update.
I will try and connect with an ethernet cable. Thanks again.
