R8000 DNS constantly fails
I came to this forum to find a solution, only to find other customers having the same exact issue without a fix. Ever since updating to firmware version V1.0.4.74_10.1.80 I get an error saying "Site...
It would be great to hear from them and acknowledge there is an issue and they are working on a fix. I agree it takes time, but this update released all the way back in July. How much time should it take to fix a serious issue? I can't even get to Google and had to downgrade again until I figure out what router I want to replace it.
the issue just seemed to crop up in the last 2-3 weeks from my posts here on the forum.
the R8000 has had some other issues not releated to DNS from prior.
and you won't get an "official release" from netgear. this is the community support forum where members of the public help out.
If they released an "official release statement" it could potentially open them up to legal issues and they're going to avoid that as much as possible.
