Rax 120 slow wifi speed

I can't get past 250Mbps on Comcast with my CM1000 and 1G service. My previous service was 200Mbps but I just changed to the faster speed two days ago and my speed has not changed. Did you have to change any settings to get 950Mbps+??
ByrdTECH2, I had a similar issue after upgrading the speed on my Xfinity service. The root cause of the problem was that the modem’s boot (configuration) file had not been automatically updated by Xfinity.
The problem can likely be resolved (a) by contacting Xfinity technical support, and requesting them to remotely push the correct boot file to your modem; or, (b) by performing a factory reset of the modem and activating it again with Xfinity.
