RAX-48 Internet dies once a week
Once a week my xfinity internet dies on this router. I log in and reboot 192.168.1.1 and it comes back. It always show internet Status:GOOD. But it's not. So I try to look in the logs and I notic...
Turns out it was my cable modem. Replaced it been working fine.
Im on Firmware Version V1.0.2.82_2.0.5
So I tried calling NETGEAR Support. Since I'm past 90 days only a hardware check is allowed. And the hardware check consists of asking if the lights come on, on the router. If the lights come on it must be working right? LOL. 1 year warranty is for lights only. Anyway that clock being off makes me think default NTP server that NETGEAR uses is bad. Finger crossed.
Here is what I am trying. It definitely can't be some internal clock or internal storage gone bad since the lights come on.
