RAX-75 Incorrect time,

I have RAX75 with firmware V1.0.3.98_1.0.46.

I noticed the router is not maintained by router. Netgear support sent me some NTP server list and i updated the router. Time is synced every time i reboot then it stays at the same day+hour+minute. Its not advancing. I see that same time stamp after hours or days.  The router log time stamp is also wrong because there is no clock running inside. Netgear support asked me to downgrade firmware and factory reset.  I am trying to avoid a factory reset because i dont want to set up client ips from scratch.  Any one faced same issue of time in router? Any known solution other than factory reset ?

    Hello aant & AB3458,

May you send me a private message with your email address and serial number. We currently have a trial firmware that may address your issue.

      RAX75 S/N 6271967TA0548

Using pool.ntp.org with GMT-06:00 timezone as NTP server or the Netgear server, the router retrives incorrect time and date (as of Sunday, 30 Aug 2020 13:56:43 CDT the rouiter shows "Wednesday, 12 Aug 2020 15:18:28") and never advances from that day, hour, or minute, but the seconds vary between 18 and 47 on repeated entry to the NTP page.

New firmware is required with correct NTP routine!

Netgear pulled that firmware from their site.  I actually downgraded back to .88

So far everything is good after that.  I hope they get this fixed soon.

Looks like they pulled back the firmware only for RAX-80.

        RAX-75 still shows 1.0.3.98.
