If its in AP mode, what router is it connected to?
That's usually whats causing the lag as in ap mode, the RAX isn't doing any traffic inspection/management at all. Its all the primary router.

Huawei Hybrid router, no chance to reconfigure it.
But problems definitely come from RAX. Any chance to find out, which smart home device may cause this?- michaelkenwardApr 14, 2023Guru - Experienced User

But problems definitely come from RAX.How did you determine that?
Any chance to find out, which smart home device may cause this? You could try turning off devices one at a time to see what happens.
But it is hard to think how a Wifi client can throttle a router. The usual complaint is the other way round, that routers slow down clients.

Hybrid, cause main bandwith comes in from wired ADSL, rest comes from 4G via air.
I have a second asus router on 2nd floor, no probs with this one.
when i reset the router, wifi is to default password.
so no connecttions at all. then the router works as hell.
so no devices conncted, all fine.
26 devices connected (currently half of them hardwired) -> lagging. even on the hardwired ps5!
