RAX10 - How to separate 2 networks ?
Bonjour,
Comment faire ? D'avance merci pour vos réponses.
Hello,
I bought a RAX10 router to create a separate network at 10.0.0.xxx from the main Livebox network (192.168.1.xxx).
Everything worked except that connected to the network at 10.0.0.xxx, I can ping the box which is at 192.168.1.xxx.
I would like no device to be able to access the network at 192.168.1.xxx.
That is to say completely isolate the network in 10.0.0.xxx distributed by the RAX10.
How to do ? Thank you in advance for your answers.

completely isolate it? Unplug it.
Otherwise if you want any data to pass, they need to be able to communicate a little.
Otherwise you'd need to upgrade to a business grade solutions with vlans to isolate devices/subnets.

Thanks a lot for your answer.
I can't unplugged it completely.
Because the first one (192.168.1.xxx) give access to the web via WAN.
Is it possible to configure a firewall in the RAX10 ?
You could buy a seperate firewall that could do it. but not one in the RAX10. Its literally the most base model dual band AC mesh system netgear offered.

Question :
Is the NETGEAR WAX204 able to do this ?
I can find a concrete description of the exact functions.
Thanks a lot
