RAX120 1.0.1.118 on gigabit fiber getting max of 150mbps/500mbps on wifi 5ghz
I've read an extensive amount of older posts but haven't seen any particular comments on firmware 1.0.1.118. I recently purchased a RAX120 that I'm running directly off of CenturyLink gigabit service...

Thanks for the quick reply!
I do have it turned on as well as ODFMA on both 2.4 and 5ghz.

Hi Shahrum,
May you check to see if disabling AX has any improvements.
Thanks,
Christian

I just did a test and the speeds remained unaffected. So it didn't get better or worse.

Shahrum, have you eliminated the (unlikely) possibility that the problem is the speed test itself?
You may wish to use multiple speed testing methods on your iPhone 11 Pro (which is a WiFi 6 device and should therefore have excellent download performance). For example, consider downloading the Ookla Speedtest app onto the mobile phone, as well as using the Fast.com website on the phone.- ShahrumApr 07, 2020Aspirant
Great questions.
I'm actually using the Ookla Speedtest app on both my Mac and iPhone and get the same results on both and even if I use speedtest.net thru Chrome I get the same results.
I tried fast.com and it shows slightly faster download speeds (220mbps instead of 150mbps) but the upload speed is slower (300mbps vs. 600mbps) than I get on Ookla.
