RAX120 2.4ghz very poor service
12/4/20 I recently replaced my Netgear 6 router with a new Netgear RAX120. Firmware running is V1.0.2.136. I have gig service from XFinity. Usually have about 25 or so devices on the network and have the smart connect turned on. For some reason the devices that connect to the 2.4gig (some of these are only 2.4gig devices - outlets, some are dual band devices that are a bit further away from the router) have extremely slow wifi service. I've tried with tech support - spent hours on the phone with them (mostly waiting around) - and no improvement. The 5g devices work great, produce great speed test numbers - but the 2.4g is just awful - didn't have this problem with my old router. Any ideas?

Did they run through a reset with you?
What are your 2.4 channel settings plus your general WiFi settings ie AX on, PMF and so on?

Don't plug anything into the usb.
- DVattimoAspirantI had a usb drive in the unit for shared service. Removing it solved the problem.
