RAX120 bridge mode not working with X4S
Hi,
I have a R7800 X4S router working as bridge to connect my wife computers by calbe for remote working at home with a main R7800 X4S router connected to the ISP link.
We have decided to migrate the main R7800 with a new RAX120 to have better coverage at home.
However the R7800 working in bridge mode cannot connect to the new RAX120.
The mobiles and PCs can connect the new RAX120 but the R7800 cannot as a bridge device
Switching AX mode to off with the RAX120 doesn´t solve the issue.
Anyone have tried?
Thanks!

what error are you getting?
Did you factory reset the r7800 before trying to connect it to the new RAX?

As you know the bridge mode is not giving any info about errors, just only it works or not if the config is correct (SSID and pwd).
At the end I have now two main APs connected to the ISP FTTH router, one R7800 with a remote one (R7800) working in bridge mode and another RAX120 that I can use in more remote home localizations.
Changing the remote bridge RX7800 connection to the RAX120 doesn´t work.
This should be done easily when the two routers are from the same brand. That´s one of the reasons why I have bought the RAX120
And Yes I have made factory reset for the remote bridge R7800 router several times. All of them I have been able to connect to the main 7800 but not to the RAX120.
Thanks.

I solved!
Just changed the Security Option in the RAX120 to WPA-Personal (TKIP)+WPA2-Personal (AES) and my R7800 bridge connected to the RAX120.
It seems the WPA2-Personal (AES)+WPA3-Personal (AES) what I chosed before won´t allow to have R7800 bridge mode devices.
I hope Netgear update the RAX120 FW in the future to use this secure option allowed. If I want bridge devices I lose WPA3.
Thanks!
