RAX120 dropping wifi signal
I have an RAX120. I've had it for about a week. The Router Firmware is Version V1.0.1.122 (current). I'm monitoring the wifi signal with an app on my MacBook Pro and when there is a drop, I get notified. What I am noticing is that the wifi drops to null every once in a while. Sometimes is drops out for 2 seconds and sometimes for 4 or 5 seconds. The signal strength is usually 98-100%, the noise is between 7-37% and the SNR is between 60-75 dB. In other words, the signal is excellent.
Let me be clear, this is not a drop in my ISP internet connection. I am monitoring my ISP connection and it is rock-solid. No hiccups. My issue is only the wifi signal from my RAX120. The router does not power down or indicates a problem in any way other than the wifi signal.
I am noticing devices loose connection on both channels and then, in time, reconnect. This is not good for working from home. What would make this wifi drop a network to null for a few seconds at a time?
