RAX120 SSH access
Hi all, I have a RAX120v1 with last firmware installed ( v1.2.9.52 ) I was able to enable the telnet port so I can logn into the router via telnet terminal on port 23 My question is: being conn...
I was able to enable telnet on my RAX120 with very last firmware running.
my problem is now, how can I activate the SSH ?
Is SSH just blocked by firewall? in case which telnet comand I can use to check, verify or evenatually unlock SSH?
Or if SSH server is not there, can I install example dropbear - lightweight SSH2 server
or any other OpenSSH?
What NG router that was mentioned being able to use SSH?
Most likely no.
there are, but running modded firmware...example the one voxel created.
Ah ok, that would be why then. You'll not get SSH access with NG Stock FW.
- So on original last firmware, having telnet access, there is nothing we can do to try to unlock SSH by telnet command, maybe installing a ssh sever openssh, or something similar? Changing firewall permission from telnet? Adding things via telnet? As said I'm not familiar with Linux I just would like comment from developers that maybe let me do some test?
