If you've connected it to the 5g ethernet port, you'll change it to that port.
Then check the wan port statistics to ensure its connected at multigig speeds

Glad you got it fixed!
Before upgrading to a newer router, if you're on xfinity (which your speeds tend to indicate), you might be in an area with the mid split upgrade. meaning you can potentially get faster uploads. I noticed a difference for working from home going from the 40mpbs upload to the 240mbps upload. If you don't work from home, you might not notice the difference.

I checked.... not available yet in my market. I am however looking to dump Xfinity for Verizon 5G home..... I need to install an antenna (check out natar tater on youtube) to get the best 5GUW signal... Here is a the speed I get on my old iPhone 12 standing outside. It is incredible.
