And bought a cool pad from amazon $10 . 4 days in a row no restart and router works perfect.

While some reasonable cooperation is fair to expect from the end user to troubleshoot the issue with a novel IT equipment, in this particular case I feel Netgear has failed to deliver any confidence that they are actively looking to resolve the issue.
This thread is one year and nine months old. Surely over this period of time Netgear should have been able to collect all information possible from the unlucky users? What is clear is that their current approach is not working, as the issue persits through firmware updates.
The key to the problem is their ability to reproduce the issue on the bench. Then they can resolve it if this then is treated as priority.
The fact that they still looking for user logs suggests that they have not reproduced the issue are are shooting in the dark.
It's about time someone from Netgear provided their official acknoledgement of the problem and timeline to resolve.
