RAX120 V2 Constant Random Reboots
The router reboots frequently sometimes every 30 minutes. I have noticed that the router reboots under heavy system load of +50% on the processor. The only way I have been able to drastically lesse...
- Installed beta firmware 1.2.3.33 on it and then turn fan on in debug.htm. Just check mark it , don’t click on apply.
And bought a cool pad from amazon $10 . 4 days in a row no restart and router works perfect.

How about lets try loading up a Beta FW that has fixed this issue?
Please post the first 3 characters of the routers serial number seen on the sticker in back.
What Firmware version is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
Be sure your using a good quality LAN cable between the modem and router. CAT6 is recommended.

Firmware version: V1.2.8.40
I am serviced with Comcast/XFINITY
The modem I am using is CM1200 (a NETGEAR modem)
as for LAN cables, I am using CAT6

Reporting back that since the factory reset and beta flash to V1.2.8.43-rc my RAX120v2 has been stable without issue. Uptime is 08:14:59:24 per debug.htm
31 attached devices.

Thanks for letting us know. Be sure to save off a back up configuration to file for safe keeping. Saves time if a reset is needed.

- Hi, I have the router router since 11.2022 and directly run into the reboot trouble FW is updated to the latest regular FW. Reboot occurs minimum note time on day, if there is some higher load on the wireless lan then the reboot can happen 3-4 times In one hour. May I can also try the Beta FW? SNR: 066
