Hello, I’m having a big issue with my PlayStation 5 which is connected via Ethernet cable. More often than not it disconnects my lab cable and connects it straight back afterwards, it will do this lot...

So the PlayStation will say lan cable disconnected, lan cable connected like it just drops the connection for a second then connects again. Sony have said it is a firewall setting within the router? I’m not too clued up with this stuff.

What modem/gateway is it connected to?

Have you tried replacing the ethernet cable?
