RAX120v2 doesn't keep configured LAN address on Router/Cable Modem reboot
I have an RAX120v2 connected to cable modem. It gets the Internet Address from the modem. I have the LAN address configured to the 192.168 range. I do this because I have a number of IOT devices I...

Thanks for your quick reply.
Yes, I'm double NAT'd but there are no devices on one private network that try to talk to the other. I have the Netgear router at 192.x.x.50 with the DHCP range from 2 to 49 and IOT devices set above 200. But I like your idea better of setting the DHCP range from 100 to 200 as I tend to get more devices on the network each year and when the kids come, etc. Anyway, it should not have thought there was an address conflict (?).
Before I saw your post, I tried setting the "check box" for PPPOE-Passthrough. I'm in a storm and the power went out three more times after that - and that seemed to work through these three additional power-cycles of the modem and router but I'm not sure why. Maybe that configuration did something similar to your suggestion on bridge mode.
FYI - The cable modem has no wifi but probably has a router inside. There is no interface for me to access to change anything on the cable modem. I can call them Monday to see if there is something they can change on the modem side. But if this last change fixed it then I probably don't need to???
Just to clarify. Outside world goes to cable modem. Cable modem to Netgear router. Everything is behind the Netgear Router and nothing between the modem and netgear router.
I'll also get a UPS for the cable modem. Restarting the Netgear router has never been a problem by itself. I had one before but the battery needs to be replaced.

Let us know if the suggestions and ideas help.
Also let us know if you see the router mysteriously reboot. V2s have a reboot problem that NG has provided a beta patch FW for.

The PPPOE-Passthrough seemed to do the trick so I didn't do the other things.
This is at a second home. I thought I'd play with it more after I got back home from the weekend trip. I have a local PC I access via VNC Viewer... but I after I got home I couldn't reach the local PC. I figure the multiple power outages over the weekend through the storms took the PC out. I should have checked that before I left. 🙄 Seems to be very limited things I can do via the Netgear Nighthawk Mobile APP.
Yes, having the restarts like others but I have 2.4 WWM disable and that reduced them significantly. Just waiting for the official new firmware.
