RAX15 AX1800 Internet speed only peaks at 300mbps

You have an RAX15. 

What firmware is on it? 

What modem/gateway are you connected to? 

How are you testing? Wired? wireless? 

What website are you testing on?

    My Router: Nighthawk RAX15      


    Firmware Version V1.0.2.64_2.0.42

     

    Arris SB8200 modem.  980mbps down direct connection.

    wired and wireless with multiple devices 

    xfinity speed test, speedtest.net

      What port on the SB8200 are you connected to? 

      Make sure its port 1 and nothing else is in port 2. 

      have you tried a different cable between modem/router? 

      After you reset the RAX15, did you ever speedtest it with it running in default configuration? without changing anything in settings? 

      I'd try this.

        • Port 1 on the SB8200
        • Swapped cables
        • Speedtest after factory reset 

        Same result
