RAX20 Devices on Network can't communicate.

1. what modem/gateway is the router connected to?   Modem is a hiltronics, this shouldn't be a factor because if I disconnect it the problem persists.----It does matter as double nats can cause multitudes of issues. 

Thanks I will check this, however like I mentioned if the modem is disconnected from the network I still face the same issue.  

2. what firmware is on the router?  V1.0.11.112_2.0.77---good. Its current. Ever tried any factory reset to see if it works with the default settings? 

This will be my next step

3. Do you have your home network set as private on the windows pc's? No I don't and they work when I bring them to work.---they should be set on private for windows pc's on a home network

Sorry yes I do have it set as private.  Even when the firewall is turned off though I can't ping machines.

4. Is there a difference from wired devices to wireless? Yes!  I can ping hardwired devices from wireless devices.---If you can ping them, the router is going its job. Its something in how you're implementing RDP or your settings. 

Strangely though RDP works on the machines anywhere else.

It's very strange that any devices on the wireless network can't ping one another, however, I can ping the router and wired devices.
