RAX20 router after powering off and rebooting will lose all settings including mfr default password

Does anyone have this issue when they either power off the router or do a reboot from router admin, the router will reboot to default NETGEAR ssid but the instead of the default password that it was ...

A couple of things to try.

 

You don't say if you have actually done a reset, using the button on the back.

 

You could also try reinstalling the latest firmware. Maybe the current installation is damaged but not broken enough to fail completely.

    I have performed a reset in the past and it did not resolve the issue.  Per your suggestion, I'll try reinstalling the firmware and see if the issue persists. The reset of SSID and deletion of profile and settings happens after 1 in 3 to 5 power off and or reboot from menu.
