RAX200 Mode (2400 vs 4800)
I have RAX200. After the last firmware update i noticed that higher band 5g dropped to "up to 2400" mode. If i switch it to "up to 4800" mode my devices cant connect to the network (says network erro...

Yes, if I set mode to 4800 nothing connects. If I lower to 2400 it’s fine. That’s for higher band 5g only.
Same thing happens to me - on 1.0.3.102_1.0.56
When setting 2nd band to 4800MBps the network disappears, even though status shows is as enabled and working.
Turning it back down to 2400 makes the 2nd radio network reappear.
1. Netgear - why are you marketing your router as AX11000 if it is clearly not capable?
2. For 450€ you would expect a high end device and in return you receive trash with firmware programmed by chinese freshman students
3. Having customers beta test your products is terrible practice, especially at this price point.
4. Don't give me your standard checklist questions and answers:
- I have trie rebooting it a million times
- I have reflashed the latest firmware 5 times
- I have changed every single setting in the terrible interface that you call a GUI
- Radio 1 lets my Intel 9560 AC connect at 1.7GBPS but Radio 2 does not go above 866 regardless of DFS channel that is selected
The site filter does work only partially, it blocks some sites but some others not.
Overall terrible experience, terribly buggy firmware. Save your generic responses for somebody else.
