RAX200 performs better as an AP?

So I’ve decided against using IP pass through from my Att BGW210 to the RAX.

In a whim, I set the RAX up as an AP and speeds went up around 30 percent (from 750 Mbs to 930 ish and wireless also jumped a good bit).

Why is this?

ATT's passthrough feature doesn't really work properly. If you were using it before and had issues/slow downs, it was probably related to that. I've ran into numerous issues with ATT and passthrough and its usually resolved by leaving the att device in router mode and placing the other in AP mode.
