RAX200 seems to block some web sites when using android phone.

I have had this blocking website issues with my RAX200 while using my Samsung Galaxy S21. I have tried most of the suggestions that I have read in other posts with no success. Has anyone else had this issue? I have no problems accessing the internet when using my phone with my ISP router.

Modem - Arris nvg443b, DSL modem, ziply fiber formerly frontier. I've tried talking with them with no avail. They don't support 3rrd party routers. I have the Netgear because i need the Wi-Fi range. The ISP router has about 15 feet of Wi-Fi range.

Netgear RAX200 FW version V1.0.10.140_1.0.79, Armour not enabled.

is ipv6 enabled? - I get the same results with or without this enabled.

      No parental controls used.

My main problem is that when I am connected to the RAX200 Wi-Fi I am not able to access live feeds from my ring cameras and using the ring app the access to the ring cameras is very slow and at times doesn't access the cameras at all. When I switch to the ARRIS Wi-Fi or mobile data from my phone, I have no problems with accessing my ring cameras. I have my cameras connected to the RAX200 guest Wi-Fi which was one suggestion I tried.

Another issue I have is that i can't access some web sites. I get a not secure message when i know the site is secure or that i trust the site, I haven't found a way to override this. It's just an inconvenience to have to switch to different Wi-Fi devices all of the time.

My ISP router seems to be tied to certain settings. Any changes I've made, it doesn't like and i have to reset it, especially when changed to bridge mode.

I have Norton360, I thought this might be an issue but haven't found any issues with this yet. I would think that if it were that it would affect both routers.

      Thanks

You're currently in a double nat using that gateway with the RAX.

A double nat happens when you cascade more than 1 router.

Fixes? There’s 3 options but only use 1.
        1. Put the modem/gateway in modem only/pass through mode. This disables its routing functions.
        2. Leave the modem/gateway in router mode but put the Netgears IP address into its DMZ. This forwards the data to the netgear. You can either leave the modem/gateway’s wireless enabled or disabled. Just make sure its using a different wifi channel to prevent interference
        3. Put the Netgear into access point mode. This disables its routing functions. Wifi/ethernet still works but it does disable some features.
