I am installing a RAX200 and I want a seamless connection. Currently I am using a Spectrum modem/with voice. In order to get maximum performance should I change to a Netgear Nighthawk type modem? If ...

You won't see much difference going from a spectrum modem to a netgear one. the main difference is the fact that spectrum locks their modems down so you can't check signal strengths.
