I actually did a lot of research on getting rid of the 200 MB partition. You can't do it through Disk Management, you have to do it through Command Prompt. This is how I did it.

It depends on the partition.
I confess that that I have software that is designed to handle that sort of thing, both Acronis and EaseUS Partition Master.
This is how I did it.

I have been successful in reformatting the drive many times but so far I always end with the same result. If the 200 MB EFI System Partition is present then the router can access the drive but only that 200 MB partition. If that 200 MB partition isn't present any longer (because of reformatting and removing it) the drive is not even recognized.
I'll keep working with it and see if I can come up with something.
