I want to use some 'smart plugs' mfgd by YoLink to control house lights. They only support networks using 2.4. When I try to link the YoLink device to the network, it is denied. No doubt the route...

You can try re-enabling it. It might work/connect. If it doesn't, just disable it. Or use an old wireless N router for those devices (in access point mode)
Basically means poor coding on the yolink part.
but at least you've figured out what needs to be done.

Sounds like an issue with Yolink then. the only other thing I'd try is disabling wpa3 and AX on the router. Maybe its a issue with how Yolink "see's" it

I went into the router and disabled AX (whatever that is, I have no clue). I tried to connect and lo and behold it worked! Looks like that did the trick!! Thanks.
Now my question is, do I go back in and enable AX and will YoLink still work?
