anytime there's an issue after a firmware upgrade, a reasonable first step is factory reset.
If that doesn't help, then I'd downgrade the firmware to the older version. Maybe the newer one introducted a bug in your device.
Once downgraded, disable auto updates so it doesn't automatically go back to the problem version.
