Hi, I'm having a frustrating problem with the WiFi on my RAX40 / AX4. When I pick 2400 Mbps mode and an open channel in my area (like 48 or 52), everything is fine initially and under router ...

It might be a bug. It also might be the dfs channels causing it to switch. to get the full 2400mbps spectrum it utilizes dfs channels (50-64, 100-144). If you've selected these channels and it senses those channels in use, it auto switches them.

I thought it was DFS as well, but if I select 1200 Mbps Mode and a DFS channel like 56 it sticks. Right now I have 52+56(p)+60+64 and 1200 Mbps selected. Hasn't switched back to 36 yet but we'll see.
With 2400 mode, I wish I could see exactly what is going on instead of the router changing channels and mode without my knowledge while leaving my WiFi settings at a preferred DFS channel and 2400 Mode. I shoudn't have to check two screens to know what's going on with my network.
If it's going to behave like this, why not just have an Auto option for 5Ghz channels (like 2.4GHz) and then the router could choose the best path to 2400? Maybe it's just really hard to lock in 2400 in an urban settings? Regardless, the way the software is behaving is confusing and unhelpful.
