Rax40 1.0.3.80_1.0.1 update
Has anyone with the Rax40 router tested the new 1.0.3.80_1.0.1 firmware? I seen some having issues so i'm worried about updating. I just use the modem and router for wifi and nothing special extra and...
The only issue I am having is the EAX20 extender not connecting anymore. Other than that Smart Connect is great ... If you update, make sure after the update, do a factory reset and set your router again, it is no hassle trust me. And if you have problems, it is really easy to downgrade your firmware. Post here if you need help.
Post upgrade to Firmware Version V1.0.3.80_1.0.1, WiFi became unstable. Performed factory reset which didnt help. Resuming Wifi requires reboot of the device. Its annoying that a newly bought router is acting funky and no response from support either. Anyone facing the same issue and have resolved it?
- I updated my rax40 to the latest firmware and haven't had any issues. I factory reset before and after firmware update though. Have you tried WPA2 because I know theres some reports of issues with WPA3 on some router models. If that don't work I would try downloading the latest firmware onto a pc connected via ethernet, then factory reset the router (pin hole on back held for 7 seconds) then go to routerlogin.net and upload the latest firmware and after router reboots from update, factory reset and setup as new. Alot of work but may help
