are you connecting to 2.4ghz or 5ghz?
2.4ghz is much much slower than 5ghz and the speeds you're getting would be understandable if you're on the 2.4ghz.
For faster speeds, make sure your on the 5ghz band.

if you run the centurylink modem/router in router mode and put the rax in access point mode, what speeds do you get then?
it wouldn't be the first time a ISP supplied modem/router didn't have a proper bridge mode
- network_noobDec 10, 2020AspirantSorry I'm a noob at this , but I currently have my modem/router from centrylink in transparent bridge mode and all I did on my nighthawk router was set up the PPPOE. I will try AP mode.
