rax40 bridged slow wifi

I have been noticing my wifi slow down recently and I can't seem to figure out why. I have my centrylinkC1100T set up bridged with an Ax4 RAX40 ax3000 router. I am getting only half of the speed that...

how do you have the rax connected to it? 

lan port from isp router  to wan port on RAX? 

And the rax is in access point mode?

    If you log into the ISP supplied router, it should be giving the RAX an IP address since its controlling dhcp. Is it assigning an IP address?

    Yes it is I think but the WiFi very slow and unstable
