RAX40 DNS not working

Hello everyone,

  I'm after some help with my AX4 router.  I started having connection issues (router would stop responding to wifi connected devices, though would continue to support wired connections for a little while before it stopped responding entirely.  Nothing in the logs but I noticed a new firmware version was available.  Upgraded to the latest but this caused the problem to occur more frequently.  Today the device spent more time being physically powered down/up than it did running.  Looking into it tonight I also discovered I was loosing host resolution on my PC (wired to the router).  Changing the PC DNS settings away from the router to my ISP's DNS servers and 1.1.1.1 resolved the problem.  (However this is a painful problem for wifi connected devices such my work laptop). I re-applied the firmware upgrade, rebooted and no change.
