Hi
goto https://www.netgear.com/support/product/rax35.aspx#download
download 1.0.3.62 zip file
unzip it
open router's webinterface >>> Advanced >Administration -> Router Update
browse to location of unzip files and select the binary image and Upload it

I put the post in here to comply with Bushmaster request to consolidate all posts regarding this issue in this thread. But I do appreciate your offer of help, as it is the correct solution. Stay healthy!

Hi Christian_R,
I have been having similar issues; not sure when the router drops started but it seems like a couple of weeks. I was restarting sometimes once a day at first then it increased to every day and yesterday had to restart three times. I have now reset the router back to factory setting and accepted the firmware Version V1.0.3.80_1.0.1 update during the install.
I have not changed any default settings except for naming the devices and attaching icons, I have done this on the web and on the app; however I see that the smart lock icon is showing up generic in the app and when I try to change it on the app, it doesn't stick.
I'm on the latest os's on a mac and ios. I have 4 wired devices and eight wireless devices.
Thank you for looking into this.
- TOKEN_Aug 27, 2020TutorChristian_R how are you going with the net gear teams you where in contact with. You have been very quiet on the topic considering you where asking for more information so you could pass to the support teams.

Yesterday all of my devices on the 5Ghz band wouldn't connect to the router. They would connect and immediately disconnect. The 2.4Ghz band continued to work fine. After rebooting the router, everything worked properly again. Is there a way to reboot the router on a schedule? Is there a way to submit a bug report to Netgear after the technical support period ends? This weekend I might try downgrading the firmware.
