Hi I wonder if anyone can help me, I’ve been using the router since December 2021 and everything’s been fine, a few months ago I plugged a Sandisk 256GB USB Flash Drive into it to stream TV shows onto...

Did you try factory resetting the router? maybe in the on/off's you were doing, something in the settings was corrupted
That was going to be my next suggestion, but it is a bit of a nuclear option. Then again, always a good move when there are post-update issues.
First I'd like to know what jackroberts finds in the GUI.
Hard to interpret comments like:
Hi I've checked all of the settings and I've not had any luck getting it to work. The router isn't really acknowledging that it's even connected."
Acknowledged where? Windows? ReadySHARE settings?
Then there is the Windows SMB1 challenge. Has jackroberts considered this?

Hi again sorry, I’ve been using the web gui and before it stopped working I mainly was connecting it to a Mac using smb protocol. I’ve checked around and it just seems to notice it at all.
I was trying to attach a screenshot of the homepage when on the ReadyShare block it just says “STATUS: No USB drive”

I see what you mean. Not much help there.
Unfortunately, I am too poor/mean to have ever owned a Mac. But I do know that Windows turns off SMB1. You have to turn it back on before Windows can see USB drives on ReadySHARE.
