RAX45 & dynamic QoS
Trying to prioritize devices on my LAN but can't find where to access dynamic QoS in order to do so. Just downloaded the latest firmware. Found out that the router doesn't support WOL so hoping this ...

And you looked where?

You might find some relevant information in a widely neglected
resource:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RTFM
Visit http://netgear.com/support , put in your model number, and look
for Documentation. Get the User Manual (at least). Look for "QoS"?

Thank you so much for your sarcastic reply. I did Google and saw various examples from Netgear showing menus (none pertaining to a RAX45) as to where to configure dynamic QoS as I want to change priorities on attached devices. I figured that maybe upgrading to the latest software version might be more in line with examples shown but I still have the same set up.
But thanx, I'll see what your helpful comment points me to.

The manual is incorrect. Once you enable QoS there is NO ENABLE DYNAMIC QoS check box. You need to go to "Click here to see bandwidth utilization by device" at the bottom of the page. It will then show you the connected devices with their priorties which you can check off and edit the ones you want to change.
BUT
whatever you change and apply has no effect. Changing for example the priority from Normal to High, pressing APPLY does absolutely nothing. Priority is still NORMAL.
The manual's examples are clearly not for the RAX45.

I know nothing, but, in that case, you might want to mention the
firmware version involved. As always, an actual version number would be
more useful than your opinion of what's "latest" today.> [...] I figured that maybe upgrading to the latest software version
> might be more in line with examples shown [...]In my experience, the firmware changes more frequently than the
documentation. If it still exists, then the "Help Center" stuff at the bottom of a
page on the management web site might offer another opinion.- siberianFeb 04, 2021Aspirant

Firmware Version V1.0.2.82_2.0.50downloaded today, message prompting to download received yesterday.Priority changes are not applied. Thanxsiberian
