RAX45 Fujitsu scanner connects and the next day is not connected
I have an RAX45. All devices work fine except for my Fujitsu iX500 scanner. I have done everything including calls and screenshares with Netgear. I also spent hours with the Fujitsu SW engineers and thye have the best in class support. They even sent me a new scanner to test out. he new scanner has the same issue.
If I change any Router settings , the scanner woks fine and asigned using DHCP all the IP, Gateway and Server settings. I have tried static several times manually to no avail.
The scanner in all cases htinks it is or shows it is still connected to the network and even shows up in my Netgear portal as an "active" device.
It will work of I hard boot the router or do any setting changes and the router does it's updates and then the scanner connetcs. But the next morning it is no longer connected and all the addresses are back to Zeros.
It is a thought there is a "Ghost" connection so the scanner thinks it is connected. When I go through resetting the scanner and go through the Setup Wizard it always says that the scanner is already connected to my network veen though all addresses are at Zero. I have many devices on my network and ONLY the scanner id the issue. I can connect the scanner using USB but is a bit of a hassle as it worked flawlessly with my Linksys that I replaced with the RAX45 to get better speeds on the WiFi network.
Funny as several times when talking with Netgear the phone goes dead whenever they cannot figure out what advice to offer! Nothing nee in te service industry when you chace upon someone who throws in the towel instead of perservering and helping. They also promised to call me back at specific dates and time to no avail.
I hope someone out there has suggestions. Netgear also told me that AX is new and could be an issue with lots of devices. I have AX and OFDMA now completely turned off but that did not help. I told them that they cannot expect people to buy all new devices so theirs can work properly. Thanks for reading. This is belive it or not a brief summary of things I have tried. Thank you to anyone that may have had a similar issue. I am afraid to uy a new Fujitsu iX 1500 as it has 2.4 a 5 Gig capapbility. I guess I can always use the USB but that would be a shame. THanks Joel
