RAX45 VPN software recommendation
Hi, I am interested in installing a hassle free VPN on my RAX45. Any recommendations for someone who is not so "techie" Thanks, roro99

The OEM firmware on your router includes a VPN server option you can enable and configure. That will allow you to access your LAN from outside on the internet.
If you are looking for a VPN service (Nord, Express, Surfshark) , you will have to contact the individual vendors to see if they have firmware for your specific model router.

A couple of things to keep in mind. Installation of third party firmware will void your Netgear router warranty if there is any left.
When you install third party firmware, make certain you have a clear exit strategy in place to get back to OEM stock firmware. This includes having downloaded any files required.

Thank you for the heads up.
This all is way above my "paygrade" at this stage, so I am going to keep my router and mac the way it is currently.
Thanks again,

In my opinion, a wise move on your part. The concept of everyday internet users "needing" a VPN service for internet access is oversold hype.
