I've noticed that when accessing firmware settings (RAX48) over my LAN that I can successfully login and change settings after a fresh reboot of the router. If during that session I have ANY problem...

What Firmware version is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
Be sure your using a good quality LAN cable between the modem and router. CAT6 is recommended.
Has a factory reset and setup from scratch been performed since last FW update?

The RAX48 is running firmware v1.0.11.112, which I believe is the latest version.
The RAX48 is connected to directly to the ONT (Verizon FIOS) with CAT5 cable (not a modem / ONT). I don't believe there's a cabling problem, as I made it (cable) myself and tested the connectors on each end and have been using it for a few years without issue. I've tried connecting to the RAX48 via WIFI as well as with a wired connection with the same results.
I did reset and restore a backup config (known to work) a few days ago. The router DOES work, but as stated earlier, if something goes wrong with a setting change then it prevents getting back into it until it's rebooted.

Not advised when you experience problems with a router.
Restoring may simply revive the bug that has bitten you.
If the behaviour has started with new firmware, then rolling back to an earlier version could help.

This "bug" has existed since the day I bought it 6+ months ago and through at least one firmware update. Since the router's basic functions were working, I didn't bother complaining about it until now. I can work around it, but if it could be fixed, that would be great.
