RAX5 locked out of account
I am locked out of my account and cannot access the settings . When within wifi range my Fitbit does not work, I can not send pictures on my I phone, it does not recognize my copier. My question.....can I delete the Nighthawk app on my phone and then reinstall ? would this be like starting over with a clean slate ? Any help is appreciated, I am ready to give up and get a different router.

More information Netgear AX 1600 wifi router model RAX 5. I have dowloaded the Nighthawk app on my iPhone I am locked out of the router settings. I want to access these settings because my copier, fit bit. and mail is not working correctly, The router does not recognize these devices. When I am out of wifi range my Fitbit will work, my phone works better. I have tried resetting the router (little button on back) numerous times. I have spoken to Netgear support 3 times. My question....Can I delete the Nighthawk app on my iPhone and reinstall, I want to start over with new account ? I am looking for the answer "yes you can do this" or the answer "no you cannot do this"....Does this make sense ? Thank you to anyone who can answer my question .
If your locked out of a account, then you'll need NG's support to help you with that.
You can try removing and re-installing and see if it gives you the option to make a new account. It may not as it the app maybe already associated with the router.
Best way to factory reset the router would be to press the reset button for 15 seconds then connect one ethernet PC or laptop to the router and set it up from scratch quicker using a web browser so you can get it up and running instead of using the NH app: https://kb.netgear.com/22697/How-do-I-install-my-NETGEAR-router-using-the-router-web-interface
