RAX50, i reinitialized NAND flash... HELP ME!

Hello, everyone.

I made a stupid mistake, and I hope you can help me.

When I upgraded the firmware of the RAX50, it became bricked.

I tried the reset button, but it didn’t work.

I tried the TFTP method, but it didn’t work.(learned from https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_OYNEZuyId0&t=1376s)

I also tried the nmrpflash method, but it didn’t work. (learned from https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hXhMgQS5k1o&t=1397s)

Using PuTTY software and CP2102 hardware, I successfully connected to the router and was able to access the cef> interface.

(learned from https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c40x4avo8GU&t=1798s)

However, the tftpd or tftp command didn’t work, they are invalid command. But it works in the video, 29:53.

So, I used the help command to view all the executable commands.

If I remember correctly, I tried the e b’ command, which means reinitialize NAND flash, and now I can no longer access the cef> interface when starting the RAX50.

What should I do?

  • Might check with the DD-WRT forums to see is someone there knows. Generally thats a very low level issue that only NH engineering has access too. May not be general knowledge here in the forums.
