RAX50 IP Address Reservation

RAX50 and RAX45.  Updated to current FW today.   Then reset to factory default using erase function within setup.

 

Within setup, LAN setup, IP address reservation.  Use to define static IP addresses.  I can assign MAC address, IP address but not device name.  Whatever I enter entered into the device name field is ignored.   I assigned IP address appears in the device name field.   Same behavior if you use add or edit and existing IP entry.   Is this a bug?   I've been happy user of R7000 for a few years and I can assign device name when assigning static IP addresses.

    Similar issue here on a RAX43. I found that if you reserve an IP/MAC and if the device is not active and connected, you'll get the IP address instead of the assigned device name. As soon as the device makes contact with the router, the device name appears (after a refresh of the page).
