RAX50 nat moderate and packet burst

I finally just returned the product, it didn't work and support was useless
what modem/gateway are you connected to?
none, it goes directly to the wall jack from the internet provider.
And that jack has something connected to it.
Maybe I explain it wrong, my english is not good, sorry about that. The modem goes directly to the white box on the wall that is just a relay or something like that, there is no router or anything like that between the RAX50 and "the internet".
that white box has something converting from fibre to ethernet.
Just trying to determine if that "white box" has other functions built into it
