Rax50 not updating firmware

Just received an email of a new firmware release for my Rax50. Went into app to update firmware and received response that none was available. When I looked up my current firmware release in the app, it showed having been released in Nov 2022 (V1.0.12.120). Any thoughts on why my router is not updating its firmware?

    The on-board update check is unreliable. That's why we always ask people for the firmware number when they turn up here with problems.

     

    The only reliable check is via the support pages:

    Support | NETGEAR

    Feed in your model number and check the documentation for your hardware.

    That page will also have any software, firmware and drivers for your device, if they exist.
