RAX50: Random internet connection
This router is strange. Phones connect without any problem. My PC laptop can connect but only to the 5G. My PS5 doesn’t connect at all anymore. It did before. My Nighhawk-app can’t connect to the rout...

1) I don’t know since I can’t connect with the app. How can I update it without the app?
2) Not sure what you mean. It’s connected to the number 1 port.
3) actually I had problems with it a few times before but this is new. Before it didn’t connect to anything.
4) I did this before, but after that I had a lot of other issues like it couldn’t connect to anything. But it shouldn’t be necessary to do that 2-3 times per year right? I had it for not even 1 year.

I had it for not even 1 year.---it shouldn't require frequent factory resets. But I've seen firmware updates that needed a factory reset because they caused issues. and maybe it auto-updated. the RAX series is the newest series.
- HellmanApr 14, 2022TutorI tried updating the firmware like suggested. After several tries I think it worked. Huge problems in getting the loginrouter.net site to work. No change so I did a factory reset. No change either. My computer connects and my phone connects. But can’t connect with my PS5 and the Nighthawk app still can’t connect to the router, even though my phone is connected to the Wi-Fi.

And we still don't know what firmware version you're on or what modem/gateway your connected to

The modem is PLANET tech. It’s fiber so it says “gigabit Ethernet converter 10/100/1000base-t to 100/1000 base-x”.
I know switched the Ethernet cable to the port that says “Internet”. I re-did the setup-process and know the Internet light is on but I can’t connect with my phone or anything. It says I don’t have internet connection.
