RAX50 stopping wired & wifi connections around 2am every few days?!
About every 3 days the router is stopping working overnight.
It happened at 0205 today. Happened 0224 last Thursday, 0254 this Tuesday.
I tested it this morning when it wasn't working - the main and guest SSID were still broadcasting but could not connect to any of them (2.4 or 5ghz). Use Smart Connect on main network (guest has 2.4 and 5 separate).
Connected an ethernet cable to the router - that would not connect and get an IP address either. Assumed before this test it was a wifi issue but this seems to demonstrate it's something more.
Fix is always to reboot the RAX50 then it's fine again for a few days.
ISP is Virgin Media using their hub 3 in modem mode (it has the purple light correctly showing on the front).
The RAX50 is in router mode.
Firmware is V1.0.12.120_2.0.83
Any help very much appreciated! I did look at other posts there seems to be similar issues, but not sure if exactly the same.

it wouldn't be the first time an ISP's gateway didn't function properly in passthrough/modem only mode.
Try putting it in router mode (wifi disabled) and put the netgears IP address in the DMZ (or the netgear in ap mode) and try it that route.

Thanks for that. Happened again last night around same time (about 3 days since the last time).
Is it likely it's the Virgin modem causing that? As the router is stopping wired as well as wireless connections working when this error occurs?
Wondered if it could be something like log filling up? But couldn't see any way to alter those settings
If the ISP modem/router is in router mode, connect a pc/device to that one and watch it. Next time it drops, see if that device is having issues as well.
