RAX54 / AX5400 - [email failed] internet connection is dropped
Recently installed/upgraded to the AX5400 router. I have email set up to send logs daily in the AM. But, receiving an error each day when it attempts - "[email failed] internet connection is dropped...
This has happened to me as well on my RAX45, but it seems to be an issue with the mail server, rather than the router itself. I suggest you use a public smtp mailer, like gmail.
Another question, is your RAX54 controlling the public ip, or is it behind a NAT with your ISP modem in front?

Yes, already using gmail email/server. What is strange, is I changed the time it sends the log to a couple hours later and it is now sending. BUT, it throws some sort of error in the log:
"[email failed] Must issue a STARTTLS command first. 10-20020a17090a01ca00b001cd4989ff70sm4691610pjd.55 - gsmtp,"
But, I DO get the email now so not sure what it is complaining about.
And, ISP controls public IP.
