It is easy to say "buy this, buy that", but it you might better advice if you explained what you are trying to achieve.
There are various combinations of devices that can work in different scenarios. Tell us a bit more about your layout and someone might be able to come up with informed advice.
For example, do you want an extender that plugs into the router?
Do you want more Ethernet ports out of the extender or plugged into the router?
Just another user with time on their hands.
