RAX70 - issues since latest firmware update - usb speed dropped massively
Just updated my netgear rax70 router and since the firmware update, the usb speed is only maxing out at 30mb transfer rate, it was 100mb before the firmware update and working fine ! how do i fix ...

downloaded the previous Router Firmware Version V1.0.15.146 and installed via admin and speed back to 100mb usb drive rate without touching anything.
something is buggy with the latest firmware
A factory reset and setup from scratch of the router and USB device should have been performed to check the newer FW version.
i just tried factory the reset and didn't make a difference, poorly tested firmware.
SMB settings is affect the new firmware update
Tests:
Auto mode SMB 2.0 and SMB 3.0 20-25mb read speed, 13mb write speed
force SMB 2.0 and SMB 3.0 52mb read speed, 13mb write speed
disable SMB 2.0 and 3.0 66mb read speed, 13mb write speed
New firmware update is awful, its seems slow as well when trying to access the usb drive, the older firmware is 100mb up and down and no issue. with smb 2 and 3 auto mode.
Time for a new brand of router.Good Luck.
