Rax70 getting error The product's country of purchase is not valid. at registration
Bought this on Amazon. Live in Arizona. Reg. screen not letting me add a "country of purchase" I see its been solved but how?

What is this "Reg. screen"? Where did you see it?
You do not need to register anything to use your device.
Registration is usually just needed for warranty and support purposes and starts here:

Not having problems right nowSadly, there are several places you could call the "Netgear web site".
Was it the one I provided a link to?
You should be able to create an account for yourself there without feeding in any details for your device.
First create the account, then add your new router.

That is where you get the drop down option for your country.

Bought this on Amazon.That does not mean that Amazon was the supplier. Maybe some box shifter picked up a bunch of devices somewhere and used Amazon as a store front. We have seen cases of that here before.

this the site i tried to use for registering the device is:
it doesn't provide a place for entering the purchase country, just date of purchase and serial number are there.
I guess its picking up country from the digits in the serial number.
