RAX70 Smarthome lag
Been happy with router till I started to go smarthome. 1400 sq ft home, single story, have around 21-30 devices connects that are “active” and been having huge latency when using apple HomeKit or Alexa. I’m a total newbie and not to tech savvy but wondering is need go to mesh router or something else?
I connect a switch to router to have 5 wired devices ( hue bridge and two NAS devices). my 2.4ghz band has 11 devices. My echos, security system (Vivint) and 4 eufy cameras. 5G is my TV, DirecTV, Xbox, av receiver.

Are these the only things with issues?
Is that stuff near to the router?
What firmware version do you have on the device?
A number is more useful than "the latest". There may be newer versions, or "hot fixes", that do not show up if you check for new firmware in the browser interface.
If there is one it might also help if you told people the make and model number of the modem/gateway/ONT that sits between this router and the Internet. Is it, by any chance, also a router, with a set of LAN ports on the back?
I ask because a lot of people turn up here trying to put a router behind a modem that is also a router. That can complicate troubleshooting.
